This handmade peppermill will brighten up your kitchen or dining room  The mechanism is Ceramic, so you can use it with salt, which would corrode a stainless steel mechanism. The wood is dyed laminated Birch. The peppermill is 8 inches high. To add your spice simply slide open the door under the gears and pour in the pepper or salt. to change the grind from course to fine, loosen the knob on top and tighten the disk under it.  There is nothing like freshly ground pepper to improve the taste of your food and your digestion.
